Created alongside glasgow fire department with durability at the forefront.
Protect your propellers and endangered sea life.

Why It Matters
This propeller guard is currently being used by various United States Coast Guards in high water rescue situations. This guard can save your boat from unnecessary damage as well as protecting marine animals from injury and death.

“These Prop Guards are the best on the market. As a Search & Rescue team, we have encountered and tested many others, but these are by far superior. I would also add that the customer service experience has been nothing but pleasant, and I highly recommend this company to any buyer looking to bulletproof their outboard motor's lower unit."

FAQ's
1. What types of rescue operations are these guards designed for?
These lower housing guards are built for high-water rescue operations, including use by Coast Guard units, volunteer fire departments, swiftwater rescue teams, and emergency response agencies. They are intended for inflatable boats, jon boats, and other auxiliary craft used in flood response, shallow-water searches, low-water extractions, and coastal or swiftwater rescue missions.
2. Which outboard motors are compatible?
We offer guards specifically for Evinrude 15–30 HP, Evinrude 40–65 HP, and Honda or Yamaha outboards. The 15–30 HP guards are designed for smaller boats and compact motors, while the 40–65 HP guards suit larger rescue craft operating in more demanding flood or high-water environments. Honda and Yamaha guards are compatible with a variety of rescue fleet motors and are engineered to fit common models used in emergency response.
3. How do these guards protect against debris and shallow-water hazards?
All guards act as a rugged shield for the outboard lower unit, absorbing and deflecting impacts from rocks, concrete, submerged vehicles, or debris commonly encountered in high-water conditions. They reduce the risk of dents, punctures, cracks, or gear case damage, helping to keep rescue vessels operational during critical missions.
4. How does installation work?
Each guard is designed for a bolt-on installation that requires no special tools or motor modifications. The Evinrude 15–30 HP guards are straightforward to install on smaller outboards, while the Evinrude 40–65 HP guards and Honda/Yamaha guards allow quick integration into fleet inventories. All options are designed to maintain portability, speed, and maneuverability of the boats.
5. Do these guards affect performance or maneuverability?
The guards are engineered to minimize drag and preserve the hydrodynamics of the motor. They add no significant weight and ensure that boats retain agility, speed, and precise handling in tight, debris-filled, or fast-moving water environments, keeping vessels mission-ready.
6. What maintenance is required?
Maintenance is minimal, as all guards are constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant materials. Departments are encouraged to include them in regular inspections, similar to standard fleet maintenance protocols, to ensure long-term reliability.
7. Are there options for fleet orders or volunteer departments?
Yes, discounted fleet pricing, bulk orders, and special pricing are available for verified volunteer fire departments, Coast Guard units, and emergency response agencies. This helps support community-based high-water operations and larger fleet management.
8. Are these guards covered by a warranty?
Due to the extreme nature of rescue operations, warranty coverage is limited. Evinrude 15–30, 40–65, and Honda/Yamaha guards are field-tested but do not void the motor manufacturer’s warranty, except for use in high-water rescue scenarios. They are only covered against manufacturing defects for verified emergency response agency purchases.
